Privacy Policy for LangRun
Last updated: 19 August 2026
LangRun: Learn by Playing is an offline vocabulary learning game. We designed it so you can play without an account and without sending your personal information to us.
Data we collect
LangRun uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to show advertisements. AdMob may automatically collect and share your IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or other identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. LangRun does not collect account details, contacts, messages, photos, audio, or precise location.
Data stored on your device
To make the game work, LangRun stores the following information only on your device:
- language-pair, music, reduced-motion, and haptic preferences;
- game progress, scores, stars, streaks, level completion, and vocabulary-review progress; and
- tutorial state.
This information remains on your device. We cannot access it.
Permissions and network access
LangRun does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, or other sensitive device data. The Android release requests internet access to load and measure ads. Core gameplay remains available offline, but ads need a network connection.
Children's privacy
LangRun is intended for people aged 18 and over. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad personalisation and consent choices depend on the user's region and device settings.
Delete your data
You can delete all LangRun data at any time by clearing the app's storage in Android Settings or by uninstalling the app. This removes your locally stored progress and preferences.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if LangRun's data practices change. We will publish the updated policy at this location and change the date above.
